It's very easy to get caught up in entertainment or gossip rather than spending time constructively, especially when the herd mentality of an entire country is stampeding in that direction. The good side of this, everyone eventually tires of being 'entertained' or focusing on other people. The more content like this article get seen the quicker people lose interest in trivial matters...
