La mítica lucha la barbarie y la civilidad ha sido el pan de cada día desde la formación de nuestra Nación. En vanos esfuerzos se han tornado los intentos de los intelectuales venezolanos, uno tras otro han fallado porque a la postre sigue imperando una sociedad bárbara. Para —una vez más— intentar hallar una solución a nuestra situación, es menester hacer una revisión del porqué nuestros ilustres preceptores han fallado, bien sea por errores suyos o por cuestiones de la población. Los errores de los insignes deben ser acomodados y reestructurados para su funcionamiento. La población no debe ser jamás un impedimento para lograr nuestro cometido, sino más bien un gran obstáculo. No debemos olvidar que nuestra meta es llegar y transformar a la población.

     Quizás el problema más latente es que se toma a la población como buenos entendedores de razones —cuando claramente no es así—. Ellos se encuentran casi que en el más puro estado de naturaleza, están sumidos en la ignorancia absoluta y, añadido a eso, tienen una inversión moral inmensurable: creen que lo malo es bueno y lo bueno malo; robar, ser pobre, no trabajar, ser vivo y hasta matar a voluntad son los atributos del buen ignorante venezolano. Viven en una anarquía perenne y están rehusados a ver el reflejo de lo real en el espejo, ven solo lo que quieren ver como lo quieren ver. Esto es casi como civilizar a los asoladores de ciudades mongoles o a una sociedad caníbal africana… Estos venezolanos son los mismísimos Yahoos de Gulliver.

     Al inicio la solución a este problema puede que sea seguirles el ‘juego’ a su modo —yo personalmente estoy en contra de esto, mas de algún modo hemos de solventar esta situación; entre más avance, más difícil será—, no apelar a su buen razonar —cuando es obvio que no lo tienen— sino a sus sentimientos más primordiales: el miedo, esperanza, alegría, etc…; e imponerles todo el peso de la LEY —así, en mayúsculas— para crear un estado civil. Se tendrán que reprimir y sentenciar todos los malos procederes, en algún momento la gente obrará bien por las consecuencias que acarrean obrar mal. A partir de este punto se puede y debe empezar a educar a la población a obrar por conciencia y no por temor. Probablemente esto tarde dos generaciones enteras en dar sus frutos después de la implementación. Luego comenzaremos a vivir el paraíso que promete ser Venezuela y tornarán a su patria todos los hombres que escaparon de este infierno.

     Por supuesto, más que claro está, necesitaremos el apoyo total de un gobierno funcional de intelectuales y el apoyo total de las Fuerzas Armadas con honor y justicia. Al principio esto será una suerte de dictadura necesaria, pero más al estilo de los primeros tiranos griegos, así enmendaremos al país. Es inútil decir que la transformación de una población comienza desde abajo hasta llegar a arriba. ¡Mentira!, ¿no han visto ya los 200 años de República que tenemos y todo sigue igual?... Albert Einstein ya lo dijo: ‘resultados diferentes requieren de acciones diferentes’. Se debe transformar desde la cúspide a la base de la pirámide y luego se hace una transformación envolvente hacia todos los lados.

     Debemos apartar de una vez por todas las ilusorias utopías para poder proceder. Las gentes se transformarán por sí solas únicamente si tienen un grado elevado de conciencia. Suponer eso es una utopía, con palabras no vamos a cambiar nada. El intelectual debe transformar al ignorante, al principio a través de la fuerza y el miedo —sé que esto suena atroz y horrible pero situaciones radicales requieren de soluciones radicales—, después de algún tiempo la población misma será su agente transformador, pero por ahora debemos serlo nosotros.

     The mythical conflict of barbarism and civility has been the daily bread since the formation of our Nation. In vain efforts the intentions of the Venezuelan intellectuals have turned, one after another they have failed because, in the end, a barbarian society continues to prevail. To —once again— try to find a solution to our situation, it is necessary to review why our illustrious preceptors have failed, either because of their mistakes or because of population issues. The errors of the distinguished must be accommodated and restructured for its operation. The population must never be an impediment to achieve our mission, but rather a great obstacle. We must not forget that our goal is to reach and transform the population.

     The most latent problem is that the population is taken as good reasoners —when clearly it is not so—. They are almost in the purest state of nature, are immersed in absolute ignorance and, added to that, have an immeasurable moral investment: they believe that bad is good and bad is good; stealing, being poor, not working, being vivo and even killing at will are the attributes of the good ignorant Venezuelan. They live in perennial anarchy and are reluctant to see the reflection of reality in the mirror, they see only what they want to see as they want to see it. This is almost like civilizing the cities devastators Mongols or an African cannibal society... These Venezuelans are the very same Yahoos of Gulliver.

     At the beginning the solution to this problem may be to follow the 'game' in its own way —I personally am against this, but somehow we have to solve this situation; the more you advance, the more difficult it will be—, not to appeal to your good reasoning —when it is obvious that you do not have it— but to your most primordial feelings: fear, hope, joy, etc...; and impose all the power of the LAW —thereby, in capital letters— to create a civil state. They will have to repress and sentence all bad procedures, at some time, people will act well for the consequences of doing wrong. From this point, one can and must begin to educate the population to act by conscience and not by fear. This will probably take two whole generations to bear fruit after the implementation. Then we will begin to live the paradise that promises to be Venezuela and will return to their homeland all the men who escaped from this hell.

     Of course, more than clear it is, we will need the full support of a functional government of intellectuals and the full support of the Armed Forces with honour and justice. In the beginning, this will be a kind of necessary dictatorship, but more in the style of the first Greek tyrants, so we will amend the country. It is useless to say that the transformation of a population starts from below until reaching the top. Lie!, have not you already seen the 200 years of the Republic that we have and everything remains the same?... Albert Einstein already said: 'different results need different actions'. It must be transformed from the top to the base of the pyramid and then an enveloping transformation is made to all sides.

     We must remove once and for all the illusory utopias to proceed. People will transform themselves only if they have a high degree of consciousness. To suppose that is a utopia, with words we are not going to change anything. The intellectual must transform the ignorant, at first through force and fear —I know this sounds awful and horrible but radical situations require radical solutions—, after some time the population itself will be its transforming agent, but for now, we must be it.
