About Freedom, Truth, and Justice

About Freedom, Truth, and Justice
An Attempt to Understand Existence Between the Individual, Society, and the State

Is there an absolute truth? Are we truly free? And is what we believe right, or just an opinion?
In this reflective text, I attempt to explore these questions, not to impose answers, but to share with you the journey of the search. This is not an academic philosophical article, but a personal reflection on concepts such as truth, freedom, contradiction, and moral measurement.

Why am I here? Why do I exist?

This question, despite its apparent simplicity, has crossed the mind of every person, even if they haven't admitted it. And from here begins the journey of the soul: a search for an answer that gives meaning to existence, making the rest of the questions—about work, relationships, and the future—seem less significant.

All I know now is that I am here, in some place, at some time, performing actions and making decisions. Some see what I do as right, and others see it as wrong. But how do we determine what is right and what is wrong? What is the measure? And is there even one ultimate "truth"?

To answer these questions, we must go back to the beginning—or at least, to the closest point we can reach from it.

At that beginning, we find ourselves small beings on a mysterious planet in a vast universe that we know very little about. We immediately realize that we are limited: by our bodies, by the laws of nature, and by the laws of those who came before us. But inside our minds, we are free. No one can prevent us from thinking.

Principle One: Freedom exists only in our minds, not in the physical world.

But what is the purpose of this intellectual freedom? What do we do with it?
We only possess: our free thinking and our limited reality. And this is all we need to start the journey of searching.

But how do we take the right step? What is "right" after all?
Do we turn to books? To religions? To states? To other beings?
Has anyone before us reached this measure that defines "right" and "wrong"?

Religion offers a narrative: there is a god (or several gods) who created us, and with this story come laws and principles that claim to be the measure.
Science, on the other hand, talks about some random explosion that happened billions of years ago, and presents physical laws that seem fixed... but they soon change and evolve from "facts" to "theories," and perhaps into future errors.

Even the law of gravity could be temporary.
So, is there a fixed measure for anything? Is there an absolute truth? It seems that there isn't.

Principle Two: Nothing is fixed—even the first principle. There is no ultimate measure for right or wrong.

The principles I have derived here become my personal measure, my own opinion, the result of my free thinking within this reality.
And despite the contradiction—that the first and second principles can be true together—this very contradiction becomes true within this self-imposed measure.

Principle Three: Contradiction is true, and the measure is a choice we make.

Thus, the only thing that is true—within my measure—is the search for a measure that does not exist.
The intellectual journey begins in this contradiction, from the midpoint, where we don't know if we're right or wrong.

And here, only, we may find the beginning.

Closing Note:
This text represents the first foundation from which I launch my intellectual journey.
I will continue building upon it, part by part, in an attempt to shape a broader understanding of freedom, truth, and justice, ultimately leading to the conclusion of my search at the end of the road.
