DIPOLOG CITY prt 1-featuring Pinyahon Island

Hi Steemians! In connection to my previous blog, the next place is Dipolog City!

Let me first give you a short background of Dipolog City. So, based on my research (hehe), Dipolog is known as the "Gateway to Western Mindanao" and also the "Bottled Sardines Capital of the Philippines" and the picture above is one of the city's popular attraction, the foreshore Dipolog Boulevard. By the way, all pictures used in my blogs are mine, unless stated otherwise .

So the very next day after the ONETHING PH Conference, is the day that we will be leaving for Dipolog City. We left Cebu City at around 9pm and arrived there at around 7am.

took this just before the sunrise. I realized somehow that travels like this are very nice 'cause we are able to appreciate the things around us that we sometimes ignore. Living in the city is fast-paced that we tend to skip this beautiful moments.

Upon arriving at the port, Tito Danny was already there to fetch us and not that long we drove our way to the church, where we will be staying. Initially, Pastor Han and Pastor Wowen we're invited as guest speakers to this church's activities and Pastor Han offered for me to go along with them for my apprenticeship since I'm under Pastor/Architect James Neri - he is the pastor of Dipolog Christian Fellowship and Juniel and Yugs also went to visit and assess their orchestra.

Right after we had our breakfast, Tito Danny had already plans right away for us-Island Hopping!

That guy in white right there is Tito Danny and beside him is his son, Andy. We rode a pumpboat to get there. We were really thrilled and excited to where we will be going.!

Welcome to Pinahon Island!
Pinahon Island or Pinyahon Island is located in Murcielagos Bay, Sibutad, Zamboanga Del Norte. Actually this island is just very small, but will surely entice you with it's sparkling clear water and a picturesque view of the nearby islands.
They have cottages offered for visitors to stay at and just enjoy the view and take pictures as much as you want, but the clear waters will surely tempt you and is very much indeed irresisitable.

This place offers a lot of spots and angles for your instagram-worthy "selfies" and "groufies".
This is really best for family or friends' outing and will surely be a memorable one.

After we had our scrumptious lunch- boneless lechon, cucumber salad, lasagna and cold drinks, I felt sleepy already.haha! The feeling of satisfaction plus the cold sea breeze makes me want to lay a mat on the floor and just sleep. have you felt that? ofcourse you did.:D though some of them went back to swimming.
We didn't stayed there for so long because we still have to run through some songs for the praise and worship service the next day, which is Sunday.

and so everyone went home tired yet fulfilled. and I directly went to our room to take a rest to get ready for our practice which will be few hours later.

We really enjoyed our time here.
The place is very serene. A great place to unwind and declutter our minds. Truly a place of relaxation and reconnection with nature.
