CREATING LIVELIHOOD ADVOCACY : Workshop Cancellation in Kabankalan City
We got word from our contact in Kabankalan prior to the typhoon's arrival that the number of kids might be incomplete for the date for the 15-16th due to the coming typhoon. It was decided then to move the workshop, tentatively for end of September.
Last June's Painting on Skimboard and Flat Skimboarding competitions in Bayawan City, Negros Oriental, Philippines.

@wakofhope aims to deliver as we promised with our CREATING LIVELIHOOD workshops, that through this, we can help these kids continue their scholarships and in the long run, make them INDEPENDENT and EMPOWERED.
Perhaps this will give them a chance to get out of POVERTY.

Remember those lamps that @flabbergast-art were working on?
Just to reassure everyone that our 30 workshop scholars are eager to start. So far, we have had no plans for the other 30 scholars but the foundation is planning for the parents to have their own income-generating project.
We have high hopes for our "Creating Livelihood Advocacy", perhaps this is a start of something bigger than ourselves, for our less fortunate Filipinos and for the country. Perhaps for the world if it's a worldwide movement.
