Steemit Proved It’s Helping Hand

I have been out for a while, I guess for already two to three weeks since I gave birth. I somehow feel bad that I cannot find the time and the focus to write everyday yet I guess it’s okay because I can go back to writing anytime, but every minute with my little one is worth it.

I will never ever leave Steemit. It showed me the essence of hard work and the value of each cent that I have earned and saved from the very start. I started writing way back December 2017 and had multiple pay outs, I was able to enjoy my first few pay outs to delegate to Steem Power and to purchase other valuable investments. I decided to save 100SBD since January up to my February earnings, I was thinking of re delegating my steem power and to have some amount to spend in case I would need extra amount when I give birth.

There was a tough time that we had to go through, after giving birth and paying out my hospital bill which was 75,000 Pesos for my CS delivery, and after all the daily expenses during the hospital stay, the money we saved was just enough and we had to
think of ways to come up with another 80,000 pesos for Marius’ hospital bill. I didn’t dwell too much about the finances because my priority is for Marius to go home safe and healthy.

Thanks to Steemit. This is one true testimony that Steemit can move lives. I wrote everyday pouring my heart out and emotions about EVERYTHING. I saved my SBD’s and kept it in my Steemit wallet. Haven’t I did that, I would be struggling to collect funds for my son’s hospital
bill. I encashed my saved SBD and was able to come come up with around 35,000 Pesos. Plus the help of our families we were able to have sufficient amount to discharge my son from the hospital right away. I am grateful about Steemit and how it helped me in the time of need.

I highly encourage everyone to keep steeming and never just think about earning. Write write and write with a heart. Everything is gonna be worth it in the end. Just like a reward after teardrops.
