How to Book Cebu Pacific Flights Through Cebuana Lhuillier
I was always hesitant to go travel before because first, I don't know how to book, and second I don't have a card to pay for my flights. Good thing, with all write-ups in the internet everything is easier to learn as long as you have the patience and interest to do your research.
So for those who are still hesitant to arrange their own travels, here's an easy guide on how to book Cebu Pacific flights through Cebuana Lhuillier.
First step, visit https://www.cebupacificair.com/.
Then, you choose if you're booking one-way, roundtrip or multi-city, type where you're coming from, your destination, travel date, and tap the + sign to add a passenger.
Next page is where you select your departing and return flight.
After which, you need to enter your Get Go account. If you don't have one, just tap Continue as Guest and fill up the details needed.
If you're booking an international flight you will be asked to enter your passport information.
Next is choosing the Add-ons. These are optional so you may remove or change them if you want to.
To remove the pre-selected meals just tap change, and tap X button as shown below. Don't forget to do the same with your return flight then tap next when you're done.
For Cebseat Selector, just tap change as well, then tap Remove. The same goes with your return flight.
Cebtravel Sure is a travel insurance that cost ₱450.00. If you prefer to remove this as well, just tick No, I don't want to avail then, tap next.
If you're done with the add-ons, just tap Save all and Proceed, then Travel Tax will appear, just ignore it and tap Continue.
Next is the payment method. You will be asked to fill up the contact details in case there will be some changes. Just tick Use first passenger's information.
Then select your payment method. I prefer to pay via Payment Centers, but there are other options like credit/debit cards, Paypal and Alipay.
After completing your booking, you will be given a 12-digit reference number and you need to process the payment within 24 hours.
Go to Cebuana Lhuillier, fill up their form. Sender is the passenger's name, receiver is Cebu Pacific, then write the exact amount to pay, and the 12-digit reference number.
After completing the payment, the itinerary will now be sent to your email, and that's it, you're good to go! =)
SIDENOTES
• Even if you're travelling with a group, I suggest you just book individually. On group bookings, if one person decides to use the ticket, then others will be considered flown. But if you book it individually, the person who might not be able to go for some reason, he/she can choose whether to refund her ticket or put it on travel fund.
• Each passenger is allowed to hand carry a total of 7kg only. Excess baggage cost extra fees. So if you're on a budget, travel light.
• You don't have to pay the Philippines Travel Tax upon booking. You can do this at the airport.
• For the contact information, please make sure that you enter an active mobile number or email address, because you will be notified through those contact details, in case there will be some changes with your flight.
• Transaction fee in Cebuana Lhuillier is ₱5.00.
• The advantage of booking via payment centers, is you get to reserve the ticket for 24 hours (especially if its a seat sale), yet you still have time to decide whether you're pushing for that travel or not. If you decide not to push through, just don't pay the ticket. Booking online is free and its okay if you will not pay the tickets. It will automatically be cancelled after 24hours.
• In case you choose to pay with your cards, avoid refreshing the page if you have entered your card details already to avoid double charges.
• If there will be some flight changes and you're not okay with new schedule you may manage your booking online and rebook the flight for free as long as it is within 30 days from the original dates.
• Always double check your flight details before paying. Once payment has been made, you can no longer make changes.
• You don't need to print your itinerary. Showing a copy of it in your phone plus one valid ID is already enough to get you inside the airport.
• If you have checked in online, you don't need to go the counter just proceed to the waiting area and present the screenshot of the boarding pass in your phone and your valid ID.
• I would highly recommend you sign up for a Get Go account if you plan to travel a lot. Its easy to book, manage your flight, and do online check-in using Cebu Pacific mobile App.
