from Workmates to Friendships
Two years, eleven months, five days. It's been that long since I have been a part of this company. Sure thing your job can replace you easily when you quit, but it would be harder to quit especially when you know you've grown a connection called friendship to your workplace. It's been an upside-down, roller coaster ride that there were times you think giving up is your only solution. But then, at the end of the day, you realize, that wherever you go, if you're weak, you're a quitter, and if you quit, you're a loser. Life isn't about giving up, anyway, it is about staying and continue growing and learning. Living is tough, but fret not, 'cause it makes you tougher. You don't realize it until one day, you see yourself sitting comfortably on a chair while enjoying a sip of your favorite coffee or tea, thinking about what you've went through, you smiled and said to yourself, "Had I given up, I wouldn't be here."
For these people I've met, I have always been happy to be part of this team. I've learnt so much, and I'd always carry all those happy memories with them. I'd always see these team as my best being my first team in this community, and I would always be proud I was once their Project Accountant. I know I am still a work-in-process, and I know I will continually learn, not only from them but from everyone I met and about to meet.
