My adobong manok

Price of food is getting higher right now and chicken was one of the affordable meat we can buy before. I can buy 8 DHS of fresh chicken 2-3 years ago but today, whole fresh chicken starts from 12 DHS. In order to save I choose chicken bones for my chicken dishes. It costs 8 DHS per pack. I used this for my tinolang manok (ginger chicken soup) for sinigang (sour broth soup) even for my pancit and now for my adobong manok.

Adobo is a Filipino dish cooked in soy sauce and vinegar. A pack of chicken bones can serve 4 people. In this dish, I got tired of the traditional saute so I just arrange the chicken in a pot, put garlic, onion and ginger, pour half cup of soy sauce, 2 tablespoons of vinegar, a little bit of ground black pepper and just let it simmer until the liquid subsides and the chicken is soft.
