Dear Diary: I may have to see an orthopedic surgeon
My dialysis nurses had been urging me to see a bone doctor for my bone complications. I really do like to have a surgery but because of my financial constraints and lack of support from anyone around me I just kept on and did not bother to see a doctor to assess my condition.
I am actually relying now in here, The Steemit community to help me because of the magnitude of my health situation. My mouth had to be corrected, the bone growth inside must at least be chiseled off to help me regain my speech or ability to speak and to be understood when I speak because now I feel like I have a mouth guard I my mouth all the time, it is hard to eat laying down on my bed, sometimes it gets messy too.
I am contemplating about a lot of things now, I will take all the risk involved just to help me normalize my health because it is all worth the risk. I am also OK if I would die in surgery too but I justwant to live longer, I love this life and I still want to give good things to other people too just like some people are doing for me here at steemit.
We will know what will the bone doctor will say this week when I get to see one and I hope I will get some support from the steemit community, if not then I will have to contend to it by myself and live with it with misery until the end.

I want to be brave enough but they will possibly operate on the majority of my head and mouth so it is just scary.

I am optimistic but still worried on what the doctor will say and I will just hope for the best.
What are the chances of you having the surgery? They will be focusing with your heart and your kidneys. We can hope for the best results for you.
Yes That is also what I am contemplating about.
Years of hypertension just made my heart grew larger than normal. The there is the kidney problem.

I have sent patients before for heart transplant...all were rejected because their kidney functions were abnormal, they were not even on dialysis. Medications needed for surgery will also need healthier kidneys to metabolise them.
The next question will be...will your heart tolerate undergoing such a major surgery. All these will be explained to you by your surgeon. It is not a surgery to correct an organ, but surgical pre-assessment will check the heart and kidney functions.

If surgery will not be an option, at least I just want the progression of my condition to stop.
Maybe there will be a medical way tto do it.
You might need dentures kuya if it can't be stopped . it will help u eat.

Co-morbidities are high..but we can hope.

Am sorry, what i meant is that, a surgery on your spine is a major thing. That will need a healthier heart and kidneys to tolerate the surgery. You might have it, but it won't change your heart/kidney functions.

See what they say Kuya...nothing is impossible naman sa taas. Let's hear what they have to say. Though doctors aren't 100% sure of all their prognosis all the time.
I am used to bad news.
I remember when the neprologist had read my laboratory results in NKTI the first time.
The results reads that the kidney disease that I have could recur even if I will get a transplant. Plus I cannot be treated because of another complication.
It was my birthday that day.
I went home crying because I knew then what will happen.
Then it turned out unexpected things did happen and here I am.
