It's more than possible to make a living on Steemit. I've had 2 posts over $100, but the thing is I haven't been able to do it consistently.
For me, I spend 30 mins to 5 hours on a post (it would be quicker if I was a better singer lol), so I need to get that time down as low as possible, continue to post good content, and most importantly grow a following of people who believe in me as much as I do so I can consistently make $30-50+ a post to live off of :)

awesome insight right here. Yeah some of us might not be that gifted in creating content. might as well empower people who are and look forward to the wheel of good will coming straight for you.
