Say no and let's go!! (satiating the need for a summer beach getaway)

I wanna say it straight...I miss Mactan, a lot...
Because in there, I can have beach fun anytime I want...
The place where I used to stay is literally just one ride away to Marigondon or Maribago beaches.. Most of the best hotels in Cebu are rested on these areas. I prefer common beaches (besides these big resorts) which is of course very cheap and pretty clean and decent just to enjoy the white sand and the clear sea waters. Also, water sports are available too. Just like kayaks, jet-skis or boating.

Sigh... I keep blabbing about Mactan.

I actually am experiencing a mild melancholy here that made me stopped doing what I used to love. Being displaced from the spot where I really found my niche and enjoy had given me a lot of things to go through. But its not enough to give up on living. I have to have everything move and working because I need to.

I'm just thankful I have friends who keeps my head afloat and a daughter as my anchor so I won't get lost in the storm inside my head. Last week, as an effort to make ourselves breezed and cooled for the summer, we went for an unplanned trip to the south of Negros.

My friends and kiddos had a little fun at Paradiso Beach Resort at Hinigaran City!

It's situated at Brgy. Miranda, Hinigaran City. We took a ceres bus for 45 minutes from Bacolod.
Then, had to take a tricycle ride going to the resort.

The resort looks clean and decent. Nothing really that you can look forward to. What we were after was the cool breezy sea wind to chill our selves while chatting about everything under the sun. And also, that includes goofing around. Lols.

When the sun was starting to set. The view was totally majestic and magical. I always though that sunsets are only beautiful if seen on white beaches...

(If they are like people, I might sound racist..lols) I totally discriminated this gray black sand and this beach! It gave an aura which seems like you are going to reminisce the start of the path one has taken. Like a look back from where you once where and giving a hopeful sense everything is on the right track.

The sunset view plus the chill breeze comforted me in deep sense that anywhere is good as long as I am hopeful and determined. Anywhere can be a starting point with a right perspective and attitude. I admitted that there was procrastination in creating an opportunity to pursue what I really like to become. I let the series of rejections and failed attempts in many aspects hindered my capacity to grow and move forward. But then I realized, coming back to my hometown is the best retreat I have done. A time and chance to mend, recreate the self better, plan and eventually fly again.

So, yes. I still love Mactan and probably going to move back for better opportunities. But I will never forget how this amazing trip has done to me. I appreciated the local destinations more here in Negros, because they can give a surprising uplift through fantastic views without atrocities just when I needed the most. I feel refreshingly new and motivated!

Hoping things will fall into its places as I want them to be now that I am going to work hard for them.
