Welcome to the Land of Promise
Life is Here
Truly Davao have paved its way on top of the list when it comes to being one of the best cities where people could live in a peaceful and diverse way. There are already people from different places who seem to live in Davao for good due to reasons we could't agree less. However, these things that makes Davao great are the people who follows the great governance of the people responsible under the government. And NO, this blog is does not promote any government officials but promotes the best things Davao has and the people in it. There are too many reasons why Davao is the best place to stay in the Philippines.
Here are the reasons why settlers here in Davao can testify that life is here
Davao is the largest City in the Philippines
With its land area that covers 2,211 sq. km., it is about three times the size of the national capital, Metro Manila. With a land coverage this huge, there are a lot of things that can be done within a day. There are places you could go visit and bet you that a day wouldn't be enough to tour these places.

These surveys seem so unrealistic but let us see through the reasons why these facts appeared on the survey.

24/7 Police visibility within the City which allows every citizen to have access to the authorities when there are crimes occurring nearby.
No Smoking in public areas which makes non-smoker specially children to be free from the dangerous effect of cigarettes.
Liquor Ban beyond 1am which prohibits any stores from selling alcoholic beverages.
30-60km/h Speed Limit for the safety of commuters, pedestrians, and as well as the drivers.
Karaoke Ban beyond 10pm for the comfort of civilians and workers who needs a good rest.
And many more to keep Davao free from any crime possible. Any criminal who knows and sees the consequences of these crimes thinks twice before committing crimes. These Laws/Rules are tested and proven through time.

Great post featuring Davao. You forgot to mention the firecracker ban that's been ongoing for the last 12 years or so which makes Davao zero casualties every year during the New Year revelry. Looking forward to your future posts especially on Davao's wonderful sights and customs.
