@beatenegg had been on a long hiatus after a death in the family. Neither me nor John felt like writing for a while.

I remember reading In Lilia's Memory. While it was really beautifully written, it was just as heartbreaking. I lost my grandmother years ago, too, and even though I was just 11 back then, I remember the pain like it was yesterday. It will be 40 days of her passing on Sunday. We can't say we're already used to her not around. A couple of family occasions have gone by, and on both times, food were compared to how she would've cooked them had she still been here.
