SHARING IS HAPPINESS

Sharing is something you can give to others, you can share happiness or even sadness but for me I will always share happiness so that people will also feel happy because life is like a roller coaster sometimes you are sad and sometimes you are happy. Spread the love and share your blessings.

I can still remember when I was still young, as a fisherman’s daughter me and my siblings don’t have the privilege of eating those food that we often see at the television. Seeing those children that are lucky enough to eat good food, sores my eyes. While watching television, those advertisements like Jollibee and Mc Donald makes me so hungry so imagining that I’m eating it is such a big help. While other children in our place with much privilege actually says no to the food that I so want to eat, me and my siblings are happy with just imagining eating.

The taste of my first Sphaghetti is heaven, I got to finally taste it on my teacher’s birthday celebration when I was still in third year. Eating and thinking so this is how it taste and it tastes so good. At last I am no longer imagining, and I can only wish I can bring some for my siblings. We got to celebrate our birthdays too, yes, but we’re just up to greeting happy birthday and food is not included in the celebration. I often envy those lucky kids, I wish I am them. I wish I can also eat what they are eating. So I promised to strive hard and finish my education so I can give my siblings a good life, and not have my children experience what I have experienced.

The day came that lady luck favored me, despite getting married early I still finished my education. I got to work, earn my own money not depending with my husband. I can already send money to my parents and return the love and help that they gave me. I can now support them, and even help my younger sister and brother finish their study. Not only that, I can also share my blessings to those unfortunate children that I see on the road. I can now let them eat what I can’t eat when I was younger.

Seeing this unfortunate children eat brings so much joy in my heart, not only that I can see myself in them it seems that I had eaten the food myself way back when time is so hard for me and my family. Seeing them makes me think that I am still lucky when I was younger because I don’t have to beg for my food every day because I have my parents to provide for us. Though life is hard but it made me strong and made me a better person too. Sharing is good, sharing even if you only have enough is way much better. Now I can say that God has blessed me not only to help my family but also to share what I have to this children. Their smiles serves as a reward and I will always be forever thankful that God had given me the opportunity to share what I have.
