Barcelona to Test Liverpool's Resolve by Launching Second Bid Around £80m For Philippe Coutinho
Spanish giants Barcelona are not ready to give up in their pursuit of Liverpool star Philippe Coutinho with reports claiming that are set to launch another bid for the Brazilian in the region of £80m.
The Catalan giants had seen £72m offer knocked back by the Reds recently, but Barcelona will try and test their resolve by increasing their bid in the hope of landing the much coveted play maker.
While Liverpool have repeatedly maintained that he is not for sale, Barcelona believe that the lure of the club along with the opportunity to play with fellow Brazilian Neymar might just be too hard to resist.
Coutinho for his part has remained mum on the speculation regarding his future and is currently set to travel with the Liverpool squad to Germany on Wednesday as he steps up preseason, with manager Jurgen Klopp eager to keep hold of his talisman.
