These are fantastic! Way to start out the round with a bang! I am starting to realize I never know what to expect with entries to the contest, but I'm always pleasantly surprised. I'm partial to The Nightmare Before Christmas, but I think your other choices are so right on, as well. Thanks for joining in the fun this round!

You have met with my wife and daughters approval. Jayne loves Moulin Rouge and Jaime loves Heathens. I'm not a big fan of Nightmare before Christmas but the track is cool.

Woah what a twist to Roxanne!! Love it! It is soooo intense! :D
Love the other two as well. I have Heathens on a playlist. Something about it just rings so well :D
And c'mon, Jack Skellington is fun all over! I prefer the first song myself but that's because I'm more for the halloween side of things :P

I find the original version of Roxanne to be annoying - the guys voice and attitude toward the woman in question bugs me. He's very patronizing. But the cover is so moody and pleading rather than demanding. I dig it.
I love all the songs on the Nightmare soundtrack, so it was hard to pick just one. I wanted to go with something that maybe not everyone was familiar with though.
ROOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOXaaaaaane! Hahahaha! I so get you with this! You and I both, meanwhile there are some enjoying this original song and I'm just looking at them and asking why, oh why.....
Yes the NBC does have a lot of good songs. Sally's song too was just sweet!
