How much Camera Gear is too much? ;)
The Moments Between || Going on Safari
I’m excited to say that Naomi and I are flying to Tanzania today to join some friends while spending two weeks camping and photographing the extraordinary wildlife. And while camping allows us the closest proximity to the animals themselves, I’ve been told that it’s rare to get any cellular signal at all, so I expect to be completely off the grid (and definitely off the internet) for at least a week. If you guys don’t hear from me, it’s either that I can’t get a signal, or I’ve been eaten by a Cheetah. Let’s hope it’s the first reason. ;)
I’m also consistently amazed at how much gear I can pack into a Think Tank Airport Commuter bag. Since I typically focus on landscapes, travel, and cityscape photography, I was a bit worried about having to fit in so many long lenses. However, after a bit of tweaking and moving dividers, it’s unbelievable how easily all of these cameras and lenses fit into the backpack. It’s not just the bag though, it’s also the fact that Fujifilm Camera Bodies are made to be more compact than DSLRs. And when you need to pack this many things, that smaller form factor really makes a difference.
