Faithful friends

So sad that our big family dog has been laid to rest. He was 14 years old and had had a good life but old age and the big C came along. He was a rotweiler Rh ridgeback cross, such a big friendly dog so good with all the grandchildren. He will be sorely missed .
The other smaller dog in the picture is a bedlington terrier now about 10 years old , a fluffy softie . He will miss his companion .
so we are all feeling very low at present . In time we will look for another, possibly a rescue dog if we can find a suitable one - so many say not suitable to be with children or another dog, but we may be lucky.
