Bird's-foot trefoil is a common flowering plant in Europe and northern Africa. It's usually hairless with solid stems, which carry an umbel of 2 - 7 flowers, which are bright yellow.
Wasps, bees and butterflies are attracted to this plant which flowers from April to September.

This plant is considered edible and medicinal, but all parts of this plant are poisonous. All parts contain toxic substances called hydrogen cyanide.
