Nice picture. I took some of the roses in my back yard the other day that I was thinking about sharing on here. We used to have small rose of sharon bush at our old house that had flowers much like the ones you pictured.
This bush originated in my Dad's garden 25 years ago, 600 kilometers inland @ackhoo it amazes me that it survives as well as it does, with fond memories of the home I grew up in.
Wow...very amazing shot @joanstewart. The colour shot very clear and natural. Your explanation make the rose absolutely beautiful. Thanks for sharing us. God bless you.

These are quiet resilient here in South Africa, for some reason the termites don't get them as badly as all the other roses.
That is always a good thing! Pesky termites!
Ooohhhh, they are pretty! Elegant long stemmed roses are one thing, these have old-fashioned charm...

Love to relate to the plant itself, beautiful to see @deltasteem
Roses are very tender. And drops always decorate flowers in addition.
Little bit of rain, always adds magic to photography @eto-ka
