[A different perspective on Down Syndrome] I never thought about this aspect of it.

Perspective Warp:

I was 100% leaning toward getting rid of Down Syndrome, if possible, just because of the medical defects involved. This speech by a man with Down Syndrome nudged me a little in the other direction.

I like entertaining ideas, whether I accept them or not.

Maybe it has its weird unexplained place in existence that we can't put our finger on. Maybe by having this different variation of human, holds the key to improving ourselves; by studying this different body make-up. Who knows? Only time will tell.
