Persian Food??? YUM!

Just got to my moms and she seems to be in a good mood. Hallelujah!
And she cooked! Whatttt
Guess what Im going to eat tonight?
Bom ass Persian food. This one is called Zereshk Polo.
Zereshk is the red things in the rice. They are called Wild Berries.  They are similar to Goji berries but more sour. They are considered superfood and come from the berry family.
Polo is another name for rice in Farsi. The yellow rice has Saffron. Tonight it will be served with chicken, yummy sauce and an Organic Salad. Thank you God!

the big hard rice pieces in the last picture are called tahdig. Which literally means bottom of the pot. This crunchy rice is mixed with lots of saffron and it is cooked at the bottom part of the rice where this yummy, to die for crunch rice is made. MUST TRY!
