The People of Steem - interview series - would you like to join in?
Many moons ago I did a show on MSP Waves called 'My Life In 8 Songs'.
In the show guests told their life stories punctuated by 8 songs that had special meaning to them.
It was a most enjoyable show to put on, and I got to interview some really fascinating people.
One of my three guests in the very first episode was @ashleykalila from the Netherlands.
Although Ashley has alas moved on from Steem, I do remember that she had a fascinating story to tell and chose some great tracks to accompany the story of her life.
I also remember that Ashley ran an excellent project called @humansofsteemit where she put a human face on the blockchain through interviews with the many and varied inhabitants of Steem.
I would really love to bring that project back to life...
People of Steem
As part of telling the world about Steem, and showing that we are real, normal, friendly people, I am wanting to start doing short interviews with people round the blockchain.
These will just be question & answer type interviews done by Discord / email, at least to start. I might move on to audio/video interviews later.
This won't be just for the great and the glorious of Steem, although they will be most welcome to join in. It will be for everyone on Steem, from newcomer to oldtimer, from Minnow to Whale, from developer to creator, and everyone inbetween.
So I'm looking for people who would like to be interviewed for my 'People of Steem' series.
It won't be super intrusive, you won't need to give your real name (unless you want to), or reveal your exact location.
I would though like to include a photo of the interviewee, and an approximate (state level?) location.
I will send you a set of questions about your life on Steem and a little off steem.
Interviewees should also be okay with the interview posts being shared on Twitter and other social media to help attract more people to Steem.

I will try to get a spread of people from around the world, and from different parts of Steem, so I may not be able to interview everyone straightaway.
The interviews will be in English, and maybe Spanish.
I will be splitting the post rewards with the interviewees through a 50% beneficiary.

I remember being on that awesome show as part of steemit sailors. Was so much fun and I would do that again.
Looking forward to spectating that again as well because there are so many interesting people here.

I know you're looking for volunteers but I'd like to suggest @bliss11 who has been doing a series similar to what you are suggesting. An opportunity to interview the interviewer. She's from Kenya and is fairly new on the platform but has been putting some great effort in to get established.

Awesome idea. What are the qualifications. I personally have been on steem in the past 2 years and I'm seeing myself as a catalyst to steem adoption in this part of the world, particularly, Uyo Nigeria. it has really been tasking though. I would love to share my experiences joining this crypto communicating and the challenges I have communicating with others.

My Life in 8 Songs was a great show, looking forward to see what you do with these interviews.
I did enjoy that show. It would be a good one to revive when I can start doing evening shows again.

I think this type of interview series is a great idea! It would possibly allow more interviews since you won’t have to set up a particular day and time for a face interview. I would love to be included on your list.
