This guy got a group of friends and family together to make the proposal a joint effort with an acoustic guitar and a wonderful view of the city skyline and everything.

MARIO MARRIAGE
This one looks like it was a woman proposing to a man, because the female engagement ring is labeled “ready” and it’s up to the man to press “start”!

This is a good way to make sure your girlfriend is alert and paying attention before your propose!

FORTUNE COOKIE PROPOSAL
Got a favourite Chinese restaurant? Maybe you could approach them with this idea before going there next time for dinner. Seeing as it’s a common spot for you guys, she probably won’t be the least bit suspecting that a proposal is on the way!

TREE PROPOSAL
This is a simple but very romantic way to go about proposing, and would probably catch her completely off guard. Maybe you could even use the engagement ring as the “o” in “you”… though you wouldn’t let it too far out of your sight!

If you already have children together, why not get them to help you propose to their mum? Can’t get much cuter than that!

ITALIAN-STYLE PROPOSAL
This may not be the most romantic proposal, but she sure as hell won’t see it coming! Maybe try to make your love heart look a little less like a bum crack than this one though.

If proposing via Post-it Notes sounds boring, you’re obviously not thinking outside the box. This guy used six colours of Post-it Notes to plaster his dining room walls with the fateful question.

Can’t get more spontaneous than this! This man waited until they were swimming among fish deep underwater before he popped the question. Probably one of the few proposals where the girl has to nod or shake her head rather than actually say anything.
