Hard Pill to Swallow

You can't teach a person how to swim by throwing them into a body of water and expecting them to survive.

This also applies to today's society "waking up".
You can't force a person to open their eyes and see the world for what it really is. They have to get there themselves. You also can't throw tons of new information their way and expect this sleeping sheep to fully understand, much less believe, what you are saying.
The truth is out there, ultimately, everyone has to go out and find it themselves, for themselves. No one, unfortunately, can help a person wake up. They need to do it themselves.
