The day I learned a very special lesson

Hello everyone my name is julian i used to get in lots of fights just because of words but on day I met someone who showed me that people will be people here is the story/// I was  in class and a kid was getting bullied and talked about so jumped in and defended him and the kids layed of off him. So I see the kid later after school and he thanks  me for defending him and  I asked him why do you let people talk about you and not say anything back.he said "It doesn't matter what people say god loves him and i love myself so why care about what anybody else thinks god has a better purpose for ".And from that point forward  learned that peoples opinions do not matter .//
