OPEN.PPY now available for trading on Bitshares
Someone mentioned this in the telegram chat earlier and I investigated, surely enough the OPEN.PPY asset is available to trade using Bitshares' decentralized exchange. This asset can be withdrawn for native PPY using Openledger's gateway.
I'll be setting some BUYs if anyone wants to SELL!
Edit: it appears real PPY still can't be exchanged for OPEN.PPY yet using the @openledger gateway service. Hopefully we will be able to soon since the pairs are live.
Hoping you will post a follow up on the process for transmitting PPY to the bitshares wallet once it's official.

Ive wanted to get peerplays too, I thought it would be on bitshares but no.. I cant figure out where to go to get some.. Any suggestion as to where to start if I wanted to grab some?
Lol there won't be many sells on PeerPlays that's for sure. The dividends system is one of the most interesting blockchain projects yet, most interesting in the blockchain gambling area 100%. I wish I could buy some.

If you go to "find markets" on the exchange page and type in "OPEN.PPY" you can find it trading against USD, CNY, OPEN.BTC, and BTS pairs.
So 0.1PPY for 5 dollars. Is it worth it? :)
Because maybe there will be no more chances to get some.
1 PPY was around 5$ during ICO... don't pay too much

Has the bitshares maintenance time ended?
I heard that there were some problems with it.

Yep, the maintenance period passed and the bug was patched and released.
The bug was patched and the network brought back up several hours after the problem brought it down. The speed with which people all over the world rallied to find and implement a fix is a major bullish indicator in my opinion.
