Orwl PC is an interesting mini PC that promises advanced security and protection. In addition to various software security options, this computer can also "self-identify" if someone physically tries to hack it.
The computer can be configured with Windows, Qubes OS and the Ubuntu system, offers support against UEFI and DMA attacks, as well as against USB-based attacks.
There is a special "key fob" (a small secure hardware device with built-in authentication that is used to manage and secure access to network services and data) with NFC support, which verifies that the user is authorized to access the computer. When the key fob is out of range, the computer automatically locks all USB ports.
The PC successfully defends itself from physical hacking to detect changes in electrical components even when it is switched off. If you notice that somebody is planning to physically hack the device, it permanently deletes the encryption key, which means that a hacker can not access the data contained therein.
All this protection and security have their fairly high price. Orwl PC will appear next month at a price of $ 1,699 for the Core m3 model, while the Core m7 will cost $ 2,399.
