RE: Make a Graphite Substrate Lead Dioxide Anode (GSLD) by Electrodeposition
Amateur pyrotechnics and chemistry forum pyroprojektek.org
This video describes the preparation of a Graphite Substrate Lead Dioxide Electrode. These inert electrodes have found to be very important applications in electrochemistry; especially for the electrosynthesis of organic and inorganic chemicals. The reason these materials are synthesised is because of the high cost of platinum which has prompted the search for a cheaper material.
