In this video, we show the influence of an ultrasonic field on the deposition of lead dioxide on to a graphite substrate from an aqueous solution of lead nitrate and copper nitrate. The deposits obtained were smooth, adherent and free from pinholes; which are crucial for the electrodes efficiency and life for electrosynthesis of organic and inorganic chemicals.
