Well, it has been a while guys we know! We have a few people contact us to ask if we are still going ahead with the new site and the answer is... Of course we are! In the time that we have been inactive here on steem we have been busy making money to cover the costs for the new website.
What's new?
Our landing page is LIVE! For a little while when you went to www.paywithsteem.com it just did not load, this was because we had taken the old site down as we were not taking orders. The good news is you can now go to www.paywithsteem.com and you will be taken to a page that looks like this :
Other Updates
We have now got all the money we need to pay for the new website! The first payment of $5000 has been made to @thedegensloth (Zappl Owner) to start development. This is visable on the blockchain or can be seen below ↓
The full website is expected to launch within 10-14 weeks from now!

If you launch your own SMT with a very limited supply would that be a good way to do this or no?
That would be one way to do it yes. The SMTs are currently not available so that is not an option right now.

Seems a LOT of fundraising is happening with hardly any progress over 3 months. Trust me. I want to see this site exist but I think accountability is crucial when you are promising something like this.
The $10k we raised was held in our Bittrex account until we made enough to cover the cost of the website. We set a goal of $10k for the community to raise (Thanks to Jerry we got it), however that was not all the funds we needed/need. The total cost for the site is $20,000 so I personally put $10k towards it and that took a little time to get.Hope this makes sense!
EDIT : This is why we have not made any progress up until now. We wanted to make sure we had 100% of the money needed before giving the go ahead to the Devs. We will have a new post up next week with more updates.
I love all of the innovation that continues to take place in the Steem community, I feel like every time I turn around there is a new development. I think Steem may still be the most undervalued cryptocurrency in the market today!
