I was at the hospital yesterday visiting and saw this. A pay phone which wasn't working. These were very popular years ago and through even after 2000. By 2007, payphone operation in the United States decreased by 48%. By 2009 AT&T officially stopped supporting the payphone system.

They were found in major cities not villages in my country, for us local people we never used it and it never existed.
