Paul Pogba's agent to hold talks with Juventus
Super agent Mino Raiola is expected to meet with Juventus in the coming weeks and a potential return to Turin for Paul Pogba will be top of the agenda.
At least, that’s according to Italian outlet Tuttosport, who report on Saturday that the Bianconeri’s plans to bring Pogba back to the club are well under way.
The Frenchman is understood to be unhappy with life at Manchester United and has been hotly tipped to join Barcelona in a future transfer window after the LaLiga giants expressed an interest in signing him this summer.
“There was a lot of talk, but that’s the way things are,” Pogba told Sky Sport Deutschland earlier this week.
“I’m under contract in Manchester.
“My future is currently in Manchester, I still have a contract. I’m playing there at the moment, but who knows what will happen in the next few months?”
Raiola is reportedly soon due to meet with Juventus director general Giuseppe Marotta to discuss the future of Italy U21 striker Moise Kean, who is currently on the fringes of the Serie A champions’ first-team after returning from last season’s loan spell at Hellas Verona.
Tuttosport claim Raiola and Marotta will also discuss the logistics of potentially bringing Pogba back to the club during that meeting, and there’s a possibility a bid could be made when the transfer window reopens in January.
Pogba previously moved to Juve on a free transfer from Manchester United in 2012 and went on to score 34 goals and assist 48 others in 178 appearances for the club.
He moved back to Old Trafford for a then world record €105m in 2016 and despite the fact his second spell in Manchester has not been a roaring success, there’s every chance he would command another record breaking fee were he to go back for seconds at Juventus.
