I knew this was coming.
I didn't know that it would hit me like this.
Paul Harrell is a large reason why the Second Amendment became much more than a philosophical exercise for me. I've become a better informed and more thoughtful person as a result of his content. He was a pioneer. He seemed to generally be a great guy.
Cancer is a bitch. I have people who are close to me who are fighting it. I've lost friends and family to it. I've been around close family who were given a similar death sentence as Paul was given. He clearly handled it with the strength and the grace that I would have expected from a person of his character.
He will be deeply missed.
