in #patronaje-s20w22 months ago

Hello everyone I hope you are great I am good, today I am going to participate in 2nd week of learning band yeah its good we should know about basic pattern of cuttings and stitching.

GridArt_20240922_184341678.jpg

Today I am going to draw the pattern of blouse with industrial measurements of 10.

  1. Put the value of the following measurements to draw the basic pattern of the blouse for ladies size 10 (this size is an industrial size) so, it has only 5 measurements.

Well i have taken following measurements.

Descriptioncm/inValue
1.Back width38 cm
2.Bust circumference36.2
3.Front Size24.8
4.Rear waistline15.7
5.Waist circumference30.7

Aa its clear to understand in size 10 that is 92 cm
That's why if we knew 2.54cm =1
1*92÷2.54=36.2

I am going to following the step wise instructions given by respectful mam.

In order to do work easy I followed the fraction measurements as I was working on paper.

  • 1/2
  • 1/4
  • 1/6
  • 1/10

What does this mean?

It means dividing, fractioning to work with them. Let's see which measurements it applies to, to draw the blouse pattern:

Description1/21/41/61/10
Back width--
Bust circumference---
Waist circumference---

How to draw the basic pattern of ladies blouse

Yeah, for this purpose I have to make rectangular shape keeping 4 sides equal because I am working on both sides front and back too.

Hence I made rectangle and name it as you can see in the picture too. I am using 1/4th of chest circumference according to length of the size. Only difference from the front to back is that o have kept 1/4th of chest contour including 2cm more while its not at back.

As you can see rectangle are clear and I gave label it from the 4 sides. While i have to keep 3 things in mind.

  • the neckline should the top
  • Chest line in the middle section
  • kept the waist line at the bottom side

Few important measurements taken into considering as we are using fraction measurements from the back side we will minus 1 and added 4 cm measure. There is bit difference on front we will subtraction of 2 while addition of 5 if we see it in conclusion it would be almost same.

Backside 18-1=17+4=21
Front sise 18-2=16+5=21

A middle line as you have seen and I label it E.

Step 1: Keeping in view point i have measured 1/6th of for back measurements.

Step 2: I move from side D I made line by measure of 2 cm on both front and back sides moreover 2cm additional width on back and making a curve by dot and then joined it proper.

IMG_20240922_123356_417.jpgIMG_20240922_123340_900.jpg

Step 3. In this step I take half of the wide of back side and then draw it towards E line.

Step 4: Now we gave to clear point 3 from the frontal side hence we will move 4 cm from back and 5 cm in the fron side and make them joined by line.

Step 5. Now comes the making of arm hole which is important step, I have make it while mention F for back side and 1.5cm to mention G point.now joined the G point with E.

IMG_20240922_124322_235.jpgIMG_20240922_123904_776.jpg

Well while making pattern we have to adjust for stitching too, for this purpose on the front side at 5 I added 1.5cm and further 2 cm. I further extend it towards waist line.

IMG_20240922_144527_614.jpgIMG_20240922_143751_520.jpg

As you have seen in the pictures the following instructions given by respectful teacher I used 1/4th of waist measure and added 3 cm more and joined it towards E.

You have seen 2 lines of marking 1.5 cm at 7 point I have made it waist dirt according to measurements.

IMG_20240922_144533_908.jpg

As respected teacher told and I following the length of front and backside are different there we have minus the waist length with the front of waist length measurements.

47-45=5÷2= 2.5 cm

Hence I measure line 12 and 10 you have seen its measurements are different in view. Because we have to add extra cm have to added towards 12 and 10.

Our derts are done you can see my model is hold it and these are same. The shoulders are almost same.

I would like to say special thanks my respected mam @lunasilver who enables me to learn something good and productive.

Well I gave choose this model blouse and it would be amazing if I will follow the instructions of my teacher the superb result will be obtain.
