Patience: The Keystone in Business & in Life
A member of our book selling Facebook group, Bryon, just celebrated his one year anniversary for book selling on Amazon and achieved over $125,000 in sales in his first year. This is an excellent achievement for any rookie even though he has been in sales for years in other avenues. This part time venture netted him around $52,000 which is a lot more than I make in a year.
Bryon was transparent enough to share his units ordered trend graph and I was keen to notice the curve of his success. It showed a slight incline for about the first five months. Sales then increased significantly in spurts up until nine months when a noticeable explosive growth took place.
My point in highlighting this story is to show the importance of patience. It is extremely undervalued and is one of the primary reasons businesses fail in the short term. It is interestingly relatable when you take a look around in your life at the items that are causing you trouble. Take a good look at those issues and ask if you are employing enough patience on your end! It might solve a lot more than what you think.
