A DREAM COME TRUE!

“Ating Himig” , a short film by April John Grepel Niebres of Indigo Productions is out and can be viewed! We are so excited!

For the past few years I have played some roles like that of a Philippine Hero in our final presentation in a workshop at Peta.; other times cameo roles for skits in the Feast Bay area during worship sessions and last year’s Holy week presentation…of which I am very happy as this is my way of serving Him and at the same time express and use my skills. I too, auditioned for roles in commercials, film, play…etc but they were just not meant for me, yet!

Last January 2018, I received a message from a friend. His group invited me and Mey to be their actors in a short film of which the script he wrote. I was shookt! Hey, that is one of my dreams… to be an actor! Of course , I said YES!

Being part of this film is a blessing and a dream come true! I always dreamt of performing on stage, in a film, play , commercial…. and Geeee! I did it here! And what ‘s more ? I did it with the love of my life Rommel Pinto.

Mey always have this desire for his original music to be used in a film…. He just did that and he was a revelation for his very natural acting here! Thank you Lord and to the Indigo team for the trust and for this opportunity!

Oh my gosh… that day, it was out and can be viewed … I was crying like a kid! I was just too happy. I keep on auditioning, trying, dreaming, pursuing .. and this time after I watched the outcome of our short film especially when I saw the trailer I really appreciate everything that I have gone through. Every time I watch the film (short as it is), I have goosebumps and it validated what I really want to do… this is what I love to do!

I know to some this maybe is just a very small accomplishment, but for me…. This is something I would always cherish and it gives me the push to dream more…. do more and just keep going! By God’s grace all these will bear good fruit! But for the meantime allow me to just savor the happiness of doing what I really love to do … performing!
