Consensus 2019 - Day 2 - [crypto]
I am not at Consensus 2019 but I sure wish I was. Luckily I caught some Livestreams just now, and would quickly like to mention two very interesting projects.
If interested for more information then it will be up to you to dig deeper. Both of these are ERC20 Tokens on the Ethereum blockchain.
Mithril is very interesting because it has a huge user base in Asia (except in State controlled China). Mithril is being integrated across several popular Asian social media platforms as a form of payment for users posting photo and video content.
Sound familiar?
Anyhow, the creator of this platform, Jeff Huang is a hugely successful businessman and entrepreneur running a media company with over 33 Million registered users and growing. Mithril has it own wallet, which can hold and trade various cryptos, with many merchants already signed up to accept Mithril as payment and other social media sites looking to work with the Mithril team.
Flexacoin is another interesting ERC-20 token as well. It seems to be supported by some very credible people in the crypto-space while founded by two young but smart men.
They seem to have developed an extremely
fast payment system, using Gemini as the exchange, to allow crypto as payment to integrate with Credit Card Merchants. They have created their own in house app called SPEDN which will allow users to spend crypto at Gamestop or Jamba Juice and other retailers through their FLEXA network. They are also looking for other dAPPs to be built on top of their network through FLEXA (which is part of the relationship with the Gemini Exchange). Using Flexacoin as a Staking coin for those dAPPs is how those dAPPs will be allowed to use the FLEXA network which again, is a fast connection between the Credit Card Merchant and the client. Payments are instantaneous, no waiting for Any Block Confirmation, Ever!
Things are surely ramping up in the crypto space with many more viable and trustworthy projects.
Nevertheless, be careful and always due your own diligence.

As Flexacoin, I think it is on the IDEX exchange.
It is relatively new but what I limed most besides their tech is that the founder of BRD wallet (formerly Bread Wallet) is involved in this project.

Consensus 2019 are just for er20 tokens? So steem doesnt have any representatives there?

I am hearing for the first time about mithril, later i will check for what social site are paid for photo snd video upload, if possible then give some reputed social site please.

Some of them are dominant over market with cryptocurrency though it is erc20, but sussess his business. Hope it consistence will be standard.
