FILLED WITH THE HOLY SPIRIT
Ephesians5:18
To be filled with the Holy Spirit is to be endued with power from on high. This wonderful experience is for all sanctified believers. The experience is accompanied by the initial evidence of speaking with other tongues (Acts2: 4). if you are sure of being born again, be thirsty for greater measure of the spirit and you shall be filled.
Jesus promised believers a spirit-filled life Luke24:49, John16:l7, Act 1: 8 and the promise was fulfilled Acts2:4, 8:l 7, 10:44, 19:6 and the promise is unto every generation of believers Act2:39.
What to do to be filled with the Holy Spirit ?
lf you are really ready to be filled with the Holy Spirit, the following steps could be prayerfully taken:
I. Be sure you are born again John l: l- 2, l6:8-l l, Rom.8: 1-2. Our salvation is the gateway to in-filling of the spirit and it is by this experience of New birth that the eyes of a man's spirit do open to perceive the realities of God's kingdom. He begins to understand the spiritual things by the heart (spiritually) not by his head (reason).
Have a strong, sincere and personal thirst for the infilling experience. John:3: 7-3 8, Ps42: l -2, Ps63: 1
Know fully that the promise of the Holy Spirit is unto you also. Acts:39, Joel2:28.
With your spirit eyes, look unto the glorified Jesus. The Holy spiritual baptizer Matthew3:l l.
Begin to glorify Christ Jesus in your broken heart Ephesians.5: l 9, John16:14.
Ask for the in-filling of the Holy spirit with strong fervency in powerful prayer of faith Luke 11: l l-l3, James 1:6, John 14:26.
By faith, open your heart and your mouth wide and be filled with the spirit as you begin to speak in the new tongues.
Conclusion: This is to create an opportunity for us all to be filled With the Holy Spirit to walk with Him and to remain restored. At regeneration we have Holy Spirit as resident but at the Holy Spirit Baptism we have Holy Spirit as the president. Therefore, make sure you are filled with the Holy Spirit so as to enjoy all spiritual benefits in Christ.

No, we receive the Holy Spirit when we accept Jesus as our Lord and Savior.
(Ephesians 4:30 NIV) And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, with whom you were sealed for the day of redemption.
No, you don't necessarily speak in tongues right after you're saved. That's rare. It happened at Pentecost because there was a purpose for it. I was saved in 1980. I've only seen evidence of tongues once. A singer at church sang a song in Spanish. He said afterwards that he doesn't know the song in Spanish. That it was the work of the Holy Spirit. The vast majority of those who claim they're speaking in tongues are just babbling. It's not a real language. You shouldn't judge someone's salvation based on them speaking in tongues.
