Why am I here?
You may be wondering what is this about and why has he got the username "realdadtalk"... though I am only a mere few years into fatherhood (2 girls - so I am blessed) and several years in marriage... boy have i learnt so much that I felt the need to just share it out. I wish to post stories, thoughts and random shit that will either make you smile, angry, agree, disagree, cry or just think... what a waste of time.. either way my aim is to reach out to those like minded or just want to hear another side of a story to something the reader may have come across themselves.
A little about me...I'm an Kenyan Indian lad, born and raised in a small town in England. Been through different type of upbringing where my parents were some what strict and werent well off but the experiences I had made me mature up quite quickly. Though I play many roles in my family, one thing is for sure, I never feel prepared and never feel in control, but I have learnt enough to say I am happy and understand that life will move on, it is just how I perceive it. Which is something you might find as well in your own world too.
The next few posts will be a random case of things that have happened in the past, issues in mental health that i experienced (it is ok to talk about it -dont fear it) and just small reminders that though it may look like I am giving advice out, it is actually more of a reminder for me. Keep a watch out on this space!
