The Inevitability of Death in the Mind of Someone Living
The picture is a mummified remain of a dog that was stuck in a tree for chasing a squirrel.
This picture had cause me to think about our tendency to self-destruct. I mean people almost always continue to do unnecessary things, may it be pursuing a toxic relationship, an addiction, etc., despite of the fact that it's already harming them. This dog is a reminder for us to always reflect and ponder whether what we are currently doing is still benefiting us or is it leading us to our impending doom. Always think. Always reflect for if not, it might be too late and you'll get stuck in there. Alone. Helpless. Just waiting for the end.
