Mum wanted a Doctor so badly in the family but when I chose not to further my studies, she supported it.
Way beyond her time just like your parents :)
I have these same questions with my kids
Am I doing right by them
It sounds like you are doing a great job with your kids
And you want the best for them
For them to be happy, not for you to brag that your child is a Doctor, Lawyer or Engineer just because :)
Yay...God bless our parents! It is really a blessing to have had their support back then. I guess even a disapproval look would make it hard for kids to follow their real dreams... So we gotta be supportive too.
