Value driven DLT platforms
We often argue on the principals of all the upcoming platforms & who is behind it. We never understood the value it can bring to the existing ecosystem & the world. All solutions can't be designed following the Bitcoin principals to bring maximum value. #Hederahashgraph & #libra public networks are both similar in this. To gain something you will lose something that's the law of nature & also the law of general computing. To gain on network speed (tps) & reduce network operation cost (gas/fee) in DLT network your distribution & governance is done in a more centralised manner between creditable & trusted parties. There will be more networks following this principals as they wanna compete with this upcoming protocols. Project libra on the day it goes live will allow billions of people to transfer value on a cheaper, faster & more transparent payment system then they have out there. There are many Facebook & WhatsApp users who are still unbanked & left out of the traditional financial system. The value it can bring to them is unmeasured. Overall it will boost digital commerce & economy for all.
We have to measure solutions based on the problems they solve & value it brings.
