Solution for onboarding
Hi steemians!
Today again i was thinking about how to solve few issues to help steem to be more popular.
I am thinking about this quiet often because the sucess of us depend on the popularity of steem.
More users, stakeholders = more topics, more active community = better currency
I saw there are some youtube videos about steem, there is a lot of information when you join steemit also.
But is it enought?
Most of the videos are old. They are not updated. Some of them they show you fake illusions about steem and the steemit platform.
Lets be honest, most of the new account holders they even dont read the starting advices on steemit or they start with one of the dapps.
I dont know how is it if you start on dapps what kind of informations the beginners get from there.
But most of the fails are because of the lack of information and fake informations that the beginners get.
I mean they see the trending page and when they write something and find out that it is not that much easy to earn they give up. They dont know usually about the other oportunities.
Because steem have a lot of oportunity for everyone and i am sure it will have more and more in the near future.
As i was learning the first 3 years is still just a begining if it is about the marketing. Usually before the 3 years just the early adopters are in a business or company or investment. The masses are comming after.
So we have to be ready to welcome them.
And i am sure we need some solutions to give the correct informations about the opportunities on steem block chain for them.
Also heard many times the language issue. Many people dont speak english so actually they have less chance?
I see that there are many blogers who write in spanish or korean or other languages.
But i never dont saw these kind of posts in a trending. And lets be honest once you are here, once you invest time or money than nobody should tell you what to do how to make it.
Dont misunderstand me i am also sensitive for meaningless posts with a big amount of self promotion.
What i try to say that we should give a oportunity to write everybody in his/her language.
So yeah if we can reach the masses we have to introduce the dos and donts and hows.
( i dont know how, so thats why i write about it to hear your opinion )
Something else related to this topic is more sensitive topic.
The censorship of the posts. This block chain is a great oportunity for everyone to write about sensitive topics also. Those topics that other social media sites delete or block.
But i was sad to see that even in this, there are some accounts, lets say big stakeholders who start to flag some sensitive posts.
My personal view is that this is not good like this. And me alone i cant change it.
All what i do is to share my view and i try to open the eyes so maybe together we can find a solution to make steem famous and popular😊

I feel that it is of critical importance to have a decent translator that's easy to use and access..Yes, I'm very aware the translations are often horrible but they are also entertaining at times if one has a sense of humour.. I definitely see language as a barrier and while I totally respect all those using English I can understand how disadvantaged I'd be if I felt I had to use bahasa melayu or Spanish, languages I'm less than adequate in..

He he yes the google translator example is a disaster 😂
But really while i also would like to see more english contents even my language is hungarian i totaly understand few people who doesnt speak english but they wanna use the steem blockchain.
And until now as far as i know other language is just supported if there is a translation also.
( but as i saw some people dont mind this actually just they dont push they posts until trending ) 😂

True, and that speaks volumes that the preferred method for successful steemians making money here doesn't seem viable for non English content.

yes and i think this will change in the future.
While i mentioned in one of my previous posts i know that that is a big work to make steem popular and many people work on it to onboard new users but as i see they forgot always a small but very important details.
And that is how to keep those new users here. We really need to make the steem a new user friendly.
Separate solutions for investors and separate solutions for blogers.
But the goal is to keep them here. Unlike it happend already in the past that many accounts are not anymore active.
Just few days ago i was watching my follower and following list and i was shocked when i saw how many people are inactive for many months now.
