TODAYS YOUTH DO NOT KNOW WHAT GOOD MUSIC IS
So a little backstory. On my walks through town today I walked past a big group of teens smoking weed (which is illegal in uk) but police don’t take action so it might aswell be legal. But anyways upon getting closer and walking past I could here some strange music coming from one of thos small Bluetooth speakers and I couldn’t understand the music it music from the genre Grime (rap but weird rap) 🤣. And it was awful it was just some guy rapping bars who no offence but didn’t sound like a singer and sounded more like just shouting out words.
Now I’m young myself I’m currently in my very late teens only couple more years to my 20s but although I get bashed about this from friends and stuff. I listen to old music.
I just love old music because it’s the best. My favourite genre is ROCK. I love the genre and I have lots of bands and songs to choose from. Although my old friends always roasted me for listening to music from the 80s,90s and 2000s. I fee that that was when best music was made.
I’ve also noticed that for a couple years now vinyls are being sold just as popular as CDs are which although I don’t own a vinyl player I think it’s truly brilliant and honestly would rather have a vinyl collection than a CD collection. I’m a music store in my town you can even get special edition vinyls that have details on the vinyl that represent the band which is another bonus and I’m very glad that vinyls are I guess you could say BACK

Music has evolved somewhat, grime can be pretty shouty to say the least, and once you hit some heavy dubstep it sorts out the base quality of your speakers in an instant - or breaks them lol.
The classics are the best, I agree with you about that - and you have some of my favourites listed - nice one!
