There is a system called the cash envelope system. It really helps one to stick to their budget. I've found it extremely helpful. So many times we'll take out our debit or credit card not even thinking of the balance or what we're wasting our money on. The cash envelope system is a visual cue, helping you to understand and really have a better grasp on your finances. I encourage anyone that struggles with budgeting to try it.
