This is a story I followed for a long time. I am a believer that automation is going to destroy a ton of jobs. It is coming and the world, for the most part, is not prepared for it.
The IMF report is the most aggressive in terms of numbers so far yet it is not out of line. We are already seeing third world nations losing employment due to automation. It is only going to spread.
Wait until 3D printing really starts to take off....we will see massive job loss when that happens.
