Small things can make a big difference!

The Biggest achievement that parents can have is seeing a child's learnings day by day. Every development that definitely started from the day they were born, starting seeing lights, recognizing different colors, from crawling down to every step by step walks, were having some struggles of downfalls but has the faith to try and stand again. Until time comes they were able to stand by their own feet.

As Parents, their big and little achievements are part of our Success of Parenting. Small things can make a big difference. Their smiles are our happy pill, their cries are our saddest moment.

Guys, Let me share one memorable day of my happy pill's little achievement.

This was taken 2 months ago when he was awarded as one of the top of his class for 1st grading period. That day he was not aware what was the school event, for I am able to go with him. As this young boy out of his curiosity, he once ask why I didn't go to work. I just said that Parents and Teachers meeting (PTCA) at school So it is obligatory for parents to be in the meeting. He really wondered why and i cannot blame him for that way of thinking because I am a working mom so normally my mom or his Nanay (grand mother) were usually sent him to school.

So when we arrived in school. As the program started he just seat beside me. Do some talking and asking something that his teacher in the stage calling names of his fellow classmate awardee. And by his surprise he heared his name called by his teacher to recieved the certificate of Award.

The Smile

Right there and then even he smiles while holding the certificate. I know he didn't understand what was this a piece of paper mean. All he know is I'm with him this day and together holding hand in hand, walking to the stage and received the recognition.
