I have met every sort of parents and on the whole, I have to believe they are doing the best that they can AT THE TIME.

But there are are couple that Yep, I have said that.

The helicopter parents that hang around all the time when the kids are little and wonder why their 15 / 16 year old never goes out ; never has friends and is isolated.

The indifferent parents. Hardly notice the child and never go to school events. Feeling unloved screws with the brain.

The absent parent - in jail, in a new relationship- just left town. Hard for kids not to take that personally. Angry kids from this one.

The passive aggressive parents. Speaks for itself.. you will never be right about anything. Ever. You are stupid. (And screwed)

The patent who does harm. Abuse of any kind. But worse, allowing someone else to do it. Sexual abuse is far more commo than one would dream. Worst experience ever, for a child. Yep, this is a screwed for life situation.

So many more and the list goes on - BUT, for every parent making mistakes, there is a a dozen parents doing a “good enough’ job. Turning out a sane adult is a very hard task and we are all not up to it..

We dream of the family we see on TV, but finding the real thing- happy families is a hard task - but we have to keep trying Again and again to do better..
